Dollie Maria (Moore) Ross has been passionate about writing throughout her life, whether crafting song lyrics, children plays, or stories. She often says, "I'm a writer, so I write!" As part of Indiana University's English Department Writing Fellows Program, she tutored students at the Writing Center and later honed her skills in children's writing through the Children's Institute of Literature in Connecticut.
